scoring the Can Am league
I find scoring games, especially teams I’m unfamiliar with, to be absolutely key if I’m gonna get to know the team. I associate faces with names and numbers a lot faster if I score a game, and then go over it again with the scorecard to label photos in Photoshop, and then AGAIN when I dump ’em all into Flickr.
The result is that I can recognize a good number of the Spirit players by sight, despite only going to 3 games this season and having awful name/face recognition under normal circumstances.
